With more than 100 models on the table and room full of people the APMA August meeting was a great success. There was a Special display of P-40’s, P-36’s, Hawk’s, Kittyhawk’s and Tomahawk’s. What a packed schedule for our mid winter APMA July meeting. There was a Special 50th anniversary display of Matchbox models. We hosted Platypus Publications competition ‘Machines Associated with Well Known Personalities’ plus there was the General display and Letter ‘F’ theme. The quality of the builds were excellent this month, check out the gallery below to see the diversity and quality of the models on display for our July 2026 meeting.

Here we are halfway through the year and the turnout is still strong. We had 37 Members turn up for our June meeting. We had a good selection of models on the tables for our Anniversary themes of Australian military and Australian civil models. And not to be out done we had quite a diverse array of models for the General display from the Artemis heavy lifter rocket to a Wickham type 42 armored trolly.
