There was a modest turn out this month. However, the tables were full! This was due to the popularity the theme ‘1926-2026, 100 Years of Twins’ sponsored by Ley Reynolds from Platypus Publications. Ley Presented Platypus Publications Gift Certificates to first and second place holders as voted by members attending the meeting. Ian Wrenford took out first place with his Avro Anson CSIRO cloud seeding aircraft and Phil Wordsworth was runner up with his Northrop F89J Scorpion. This was the first meeting of the APMA’s Golden Jubilee year. The meeting also included the first of our special 50th anniversary themes ‘Anniversaries’. Plus we had a Desert theme and the General display.
